Meet Neil

I faced profound challenges growing up: my younger brother’s Down’s syndrome, my mother’s passing from cancer when I was 13, and years of depression that resisted doctors, psychiatrists, counselors, therapists, and pharmaceuticals. My life transformed in Holland, studying with a Tai Chi master who urged me to relinquish wealth to embrace life’s lessons and emotions. Having been rich and poor, I found true richness in self-understanding. I channel sensitivity through Tai Chi masters’ teachings, from Cheng Man-ch’ing to Tew Bunnag, and time with Mantak Chia’s students, whose Universal Healing Tao system taught me to balance qi. Profound spiritual experiences, from a Thai monk’s spirit to my grandmother’s deathbed visions at life’s end, shape my work. Guided by compassion, diplomacy, light, and authenticity, I ease anxiety and loss. I supported community initiatives with literacy and websites, and in Thailand, donated technology to a monk. After losing my mother and brother, I embraced natural medicine—lime water, blackseed oil, Moroccan clay jugs. As Ajarn Neil, my five-star Bristol Airbnb welcomes guests with warmth, a skill I bring to healing and end-of-life care in local nature reserves.
